Bobby the Banana Man

So, by the way, Richard started working at the new grocery store here in town as the front end manager. I spaced posting that wonderful little change in our lives. He's been working there since the week we came back from Vegas (a couple months ago) And this is Bobby, he came to visit for Grand Opening. Bobby was there for a few days, so needless to say, we were in the grocery store every day for those few days. The boys just couldn't stop talking about Bobby.

Isn't he just the best banana ever!?!

Easter Weekend

Friday night we colored eggs together. But Landon's favorite part was peeling and eating the eggs. He was so excited when I told him he could eat the ball inside:)

Saturday morning the had come. This year he decided to leave all the gifts in one basket. It was fun to see Landon divvy them out and say, "Here Carson this is yours".

At noon on Saturday we had a party at mom's. Here are all the little kids patiently waiting to run after the eggs.

Sunday we had an Easter dinner at G&G Russell's with an egg hunt there too. She got all the great grand kids one of these cute buckets and filled the eggs with all of kid's favorite snacks from grandma: Fruit by the foot, and fruit snacks. Carson was so excited! This was his first egg hunt because he slept through the first one at my mom's. He had to show everyone at least four times so they could all see what he had found.

And Sunday night the Easter Bunny came to the house to visit! Landon Loved it, Carson didn't But he accepted the egg. So there's all about our wonderful Easter.

Primary Party

This was Landon's first Primary Party. All the kids got to dress up as bugs. And since I was there to do the face painting Carson got to come too. Landon was a beetle, and Carson was a bumble bee. There were some darling little bug costumes, lots of bumble bees. There was face painting, seed planting, and treats, I made the chocolate pudding dessert with Oreo's and gummy worms.

Hahah, what a mess!

St. George

On our way home from Vegas we stayed a couple nights in St. George. We drove around snow canyon, rode bikes, went swimming at the condo we stayed at, we had dinner at Pirate Pizza, And on our way home we went to Johnson's Farm Dinosaur Museum. We used mom and dad's time share for the condo we stayed it and it was really nice. My favorite part was the kitchen, it had everything you'd need.

We also ate at a buffet there in St. George where they had little octopus'. Richard thought he'd put one on their plates. Of course they at that over the pasta and vegetahle:) Once it got to the point where they were chewing the tentacles saying how they were like gum we had to take em from them. They were grossing us out. Maybe if we responded like that with everything they ate they'd start eating more.

Here we are visiting an old pioneer home

And letting the boys run off a little bit of their energy before we go into an art museum.

And this is Johnson's farm where Farmer Johnson found dinosaur footprints on his land and turned the farm into a museum. Very Cool!

Diggin for bones

Tyrannosaurus Rex. It's Huge! This footprint was actually found in Mexico

In the background in you look real closely, you can see footprints just bigger than your hand. Or maybe you can't, but that's what's there.

Trip to Vegas

The end of February we went to see Matt, Emily, and Madelynn, our friends and neighbors from BYU.
Landon and Carson were thrilled to see Madelynn.
Kisses all around

The weather was perfect! We left snow for 70 degree weather. It was nice and sunny. Luckily, we loaded our bikes and trailer not knowing how the weather would be.

Of course they're picking their nosesMadelyn and Carson were inseparable. in most of the pictures if one of them was in it the other was too.
This picture I just love Carson's smile, and poor Landon, so inconsolable.

We had lots of fun. Thank you Matt and Emily for making our stay so nice. All the great meals, monster cookies, our own room, and every thing. Next time, just let us win one round of UNO?
You guys are the best. Thanks for being such good friends.

Wrestling

We started Landon up in a wrestling class. Before they went we layed out the rules; No hitting, kicking, biting, or crying.
Landon and Daddy practicing their stance. He can get daddy on his back, but what about the real challenge?
All right, go at it!
As he got ready to wrestle he looked at this kid and said. "I'm going to beat you up". Landon handled the loss pretty well. The boy was quite a bit taller than him.

We wanted too keep it up but the next class be would have been able to make it to Richard had started a new job that interfered with practice time. And lets just say I'm not taking two toddlers to wrestling practice. The grocery store's crazy enough.

Valentines

For Valentines I made Richard this sign. In December for one of our family nights we came up with this saying so I put it on a board where we could read it.

And once again Richard went ahead and out did me. All of this was a surprise and Richard did it all. I did tell him about this sweater I found at Nordstroms I'd been looking for all season, but he went and found it with out me even knowing. Thank you Richard. Happy Valentines:) It's just too bad I didn't get this posted in February:)

Craft Day W/ Katie

Katie and I found family blocks like these at Quilted Bear and decided: "We could do that". Well yeah,we could do that. But we thought we could cut the wood too, so we stopped by home depot to get the wood. Long story short; We broke moms saw blade, Sat outside our sisters home not daring enough to break here blade to and knew she was busy, had another sister try out a skill saw on it, (duh!) and when that didn't work we went to a place where they'll cut wood for you and ended up spending just as much to have the wood cut as it would have cost to buy it all made and fancy:) But I'm really happy with how they turned out. I'll have to add Katie's when she gets hers all finished.
