Bottling Tomatoes

Last night Richard went out and got me all the bottling supplies I need. This morning I finished picking all the tomatoes, and it looks like I have my work cut out for me.

Tomatoes boiled and ready for peeling. I never thought I'd be doing this without my Mom or sisters.

Passing down the heritage one generation at a time. Here is Landon and our neighbor Paige peeling the tomatoes. Carson was napping or he would have joined in on the fun.

Yes, I only got 5 quarts, but I am as proud as ever!

Jack-o-lantern in August

In Kentucky you can plant your pumpkins a month earlier, go figure they'er ripe earlier as well;-). The bugs were getting to them so we decided to just carve them.

For our Anniversary Richard and I had a nice fancy meal at the brown hotel where they topped dinner off with a fun dessert they lit on fire. After dinner we rented a two person tricycle and rode around Downtown Louisville. That's where we ran into our friend Lisa who took our picture. That night we stayed in the Crowne Plaza, thanks to a couple YW in the ward who stayed the night with our boys.
