Our new home from the inside

Okay, so it's been almost 2 months. But I finally have the pictures after our camera breaking, our vacation, and the flood. That's why it's taken so long:)

Good old Americana living room.

I love my new kitchen, mostly the dishwasher. I would like to get curtains above the sink. All in good time.

I cant' even tell you how much I love having a kitchen table. Not only does it beet the 16 inch counter against the wall in our last place, but I love eating dinner around a table where you're together as a family looking at each other and talking. And it really makes me want to fix a dinner cause it's not just a 3 minutes, eat and leave. So I really love our new kitchen table. Oh, and it extends for company:)

Yeah, our rooms are so small here we were luck to fit two beds, as you can see.
Yes, I finally got new curtains to match our bed spread. Curtains are well needed here with the quality of our blinds.
When we first moved in Landon would always talk about his new "bafwoom", and this is what he would show people, instead of his bedroom and toys.

I just love having two bathrooms:)

Bob the Builder

A few days ago my dad was on his was to a meeting when they called and canceled it. So he decided to stop by for a visit. While he was here Landon wanted him to help build a tower, so grandpa showed him the biggest tallest tower ever. Thanks for stopping by dad:)

"Y" Lookout

My painting teacher lives near the Y on the mountain. I made here some summer dresses for two of her little grand daughters in exchange for classes. So when I went to drop them off to her we decided to to go to the Y lookout. Landon was cute when that high up looking over the valley everything looks so small. Landon saw 7 Peaks water park and said, mom look at that toy. The rest of the time Landon and Carson sat on the stairs throwing rocks.

Chucky Cheese

Saturday May 31st we all went to Chucky Cheese for Kayla's 2nd birthday party.

Caron especially enjoyed the cupcakes

Look at how grown up Kayla's getting
You never think about how much little boys enjoy stepping on spiders. With all their tickets they each got themselves a little ball with Chucky himself printed on the front.

Memorial Day Weekend In Vegas

Friday After Richard got home from work we all got in the car and set off for Vegas to see our dear friends Matt, Emily and Madelyn for memorial day weekend.

Saturday: Shopping the Outlets

Saturday we planned to shop at the Primm Outlets at the state line and ride the roller coaster at Buffalo Bills. But, we found a nail in our tire just as we were ready to leave so plans changed. Matt and Richard took the tire to get fixed while Emily and I took the kids to run errands. By the time we all met back it was time for lunch, and naps for Carson and Madelynn. So we went to the Vegas outlets.

Sunday: Just hangin out

After church we just hung out while Matt and Emily Prepared a BBQ and fruit pizza. It was wonderful, thanks Matt and Emily:)After a long day in nursery Landon decided to take his Sunday afternoon nap.

This is how Carson was the whole time with Madelyn. I think he likes her;)

After the BBQ we went to the airport to watch airplanes from the trunk.

Monday: Circus Circus Adveturedome

Hold on tight Madelyn!
ohhhh, holding hands!!
All weekend Landon was talking about this blue dragon we were going to see and he was very anxious to find it. We didn't really know what to do because we didn't know of any dragons to show him. So I don't know who was more excited when we found this blue dragon by luck, me or him.

Afterwards we went swimming, to a BBQ and to the district where there are a bunch of shopping centers and a beautiful carousel. There was also a place in the middle where the kids could run around. Landon and Carson were both wearing their matching Superman capes. Sorry, not all my pictures are downloading.

Tuesday: Zions National Park

On our way home we decided to stop by Zions National Park. My friend Tami lives 30 minutes away from Zions so her and her two kids came with us. The three mountains behind us they call the Patriarchs court, or the three brothers; Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. For every sited we would get on and off the bus. We were quite the scene with four kids and three adults. Each of us either had two kids or a kid and a huge diaper bag to haul on and off. We got a lot of fun looks from people.

Isn't It beautiful?
The river was all the kids favorite part but Landon's. He through a fit once he got sand in his sandals.
Aren't my boys handsome?

Our new apartment

We love our new home. I didn't realize how much time I was wasting doing all my dishes by hand without a dishwasher. Now that I have one I wonder what I did without one for three and a half years. And we now have two bathrooms, which makes a huge difference.
Our new pool opens memorial day weekend and Landon is so excited. Every time we go to the slide he says he wants to go swimming.

And we've made some new friends. We do dinner together, go shopping, play basketball, and go on walks. I think Landon and Carson's favorite thing about our new home is the patio where they spend most of the time playing.
Our camera's not working but as soon as we get a new one we'll post the pictures of the inside of our new place.

Dance to the music

For Christmas 2 years ago Richard's mom gave Landon this FP3 Player because he loved to sing and dance to music. Well it's coming out in him again I wish I could have caught it on video.

About Carson

Carson continues becoming more and more fun. No, this isn't a new picture, he doesn't even have teeth in it, but my camera isn't working, and I love the expression on his face:) Carson has started learning animal sounds. He can do chicken, owl, cat, dog and his favorite one, a cow. And he does the cutest fishy face. He's even starting to build up enough courage to tackle Landon. Which is awesome, I keep waiting for the day Carson can defend himself against his brother.
Carson's even starting to communicate more. He'll walk me to the pantry all the time and point at what he wants saying "uuh, uuh", and if I grab the wrong thing he says it louder until I find the right thing then he gives me a big smile.
