4th of July Campout

So this is camping in Kentucky! The campsite was so pretty. You would cross this little bridge to get to the campsite where there was gravel instead of dirt, so we didn't even get dirty. And the ground was all leveled out for the tent.

And just about half a mile down the nicely paved road there's a lake . Jaxon hung out here under the shade for the most part and slept.
We built Landon and Carson a little shade tent while we were at it so they would have some nice cool sand to play in.

At the campsite Landon practiced building his famous card houses. Here's one in the making.
Jaxon was really good the whole time. He even slept right through the full first night. I think he likes camping as much as his brothers.

The boys haven't stopped talking about camping at the lake and the fire works ever since. If you call to talk to them that's all they'll talk about:)

We love it here

So much has been happening this last month I'm not even going to try to catch up with the posts. But I do need to thank my Mom and Dad for flying out here to Kentucky with me and the boys and staying the week. It was SOOOOO Much Help. Thank you Mom and Dad! By the time they left, most everything was unpacked and put into place including the decorating:)

We love it here. We love the people, the Lightning Bugs, the trees, the Cardinals, and the huge pastures, it is so Beautiful here. I love and miss the mountains, but I walk around out here smiling, just because it's so pretty! We've made lots of new friends and try to keep busy. If I'm not at a play date, or a picnic at the park I'm at the "Y" (YMCA). Which is a place were you can workout, join aerobics classes of all sorts (today I tried Zumba), swim laps, or go the water park. I can leave my kids at the daycare while I do my thing (which they love and ask for daily), or take Jaxon to the daycare and Landon and Carson to the water park with me. We all love the "Y".

Yes, as much fun as we're having and as much as we love it here we still miss everyone back home:)

Pack n Up & Move n Out

Just after the blessing and partying Richard and his Grandpa (Thank you Grandpa) Jumped in the truck to head out for a 26 hour drive across country. They made good time with only one minor setback involving a 3 hour wait for a flat tire repair. They arrived in Kentucky late Monday night where they crashed at a hotel for a good night sleep. We loaded the truck Saturday morning. Thank you to everyone who helped with the loading, the cleaning, and the babysitting. There's no way we could have done this on our own.

So while Richard and Grandpa were on the road the boys and I stayed at Mom and Dads. We ran my final Utah errands, played with cousins at the park, and visited with family. We flew out early tuesday morning with Mom and Dads help. (I don't have any good pictures of the airplane ride.) But the boys loved it and were so excited to ride on the big airplane. They were really good the whole time. It was so pretty flying into Kentucky. It's so Beautiful here.

Jaxon's Blessing

June 6th we blessed Jaxon at 4 weeks old. And afterwards had a little luncheon at my parents home. Thank you, thank you so much to everyone who was there to celebrate this new wonderful blessing in our lives. We are so Happy to have Jaxon with us. And thank you for being there to wish us well as we venture off into the world to start our new life in Kentucky. We will miss everyone,and getting together for holidays and special occasions. There are so many emotions both bitter and sweet wrapped up in moving away. Thanks to everyone for being there for us all of these year. We love all of you. And plan on seeing everyone back home for Christmas.



Landon's Birthday Party

Landon had invited everybody to his birthday party months ago and has been so excited about it that we couldn't possibly leave without celebrating. So we got him an Optimus Prime pinata, and Grandma Russell got him this Spiderman cake that he was so excited about. (Thanks Grandma:) He was so happy to have such a fun party.

Look at all those cousins he has to play with. We will miss that.

I wish I had taken pictures of everyone here. I forgot to in the midst of all the buisyness. Thanks for being there.

The Nine Month Belly

So here's the belly. And the best part is that within a few days he will no longer be belly. He may even have a name.

Landon and Carson are so excited about having a baby at home. I love to see them around other babies. Landon is really sweet. He'll look at me with the sweetest look on his face while he's playing with other babies and say, "Am I being good with him mom?" So cute. Baby always gets the first good night hug as they wrap their arms around my belly and give him a kiss. And after mommy and daddy's hugs, baby gets even more loves. They talk about baby all day and what babies can and can't do, what we should name him and why isn't he here yet. Randomly I'll hear from the boys room after they're in bed, "I know what we can name baby", or I'll over hear their little conversations like when Carson said to Landon "when I have a baby in my tummy, I'm naming him Bum Bum." It's so much fun to have kids around while I'm pregnant cause they're just so cute about it.

A week later Richard interviewed for a job.

The company is Watt Stopper! They do lighting for commercial buildings.

They're buying Richard a car, he picks it out within a week or so. They pay for the insurance, maintenance, and AAA service. They're buying him a laptop, and a Blackberry. And they're paying to move us out there.

Yes, I can officially say all these years of school have paid off and prayers have been answered. We have a job! I never saw myself moving out of state, but I'm really excited about it. Scared, nervous, naive, and really excited to start our new life with our little family.

We'll be moving two weeks after baby's born. hopefully sometime the middle of May.

Easter Eggs

Richard was leaving Friday morning to Rhode Island for a job interview, so we colored eggs together Thursday.

Tonsils Gone!

He didn't get sick very often, and he's only had strep twice. But this little man can snore. Sleep apnea is why he had his tonsils and adenoids removed.

Here he is just calming down after 20 minutes of just crying. It was so sad. Nobody warned me about the coming out of anesthesia part. He was so mad.

He chose a shoulder ride over the wheel chair, but there were still no smiles until grandma's showed up with gifts. Grandma Russell showed up with dinosaurs and Grandma Nelson brought a dart gun.

He's done awesome. The first two days I couldn't keep him down. Then he started to wear down a little, but he's back to his normal self wishing he could eat all his favorite foods. His voice has changed completely and we don't know if it will go back to normal or not.

But best of all, he no longer snores. He gets the rest he needs and feels better than ever.

Birthday Spotlight

Yep, he's 3, can you believe it? This is my baby. My baby who get's excited over everything. He has so much energy he doesn't know what to do with it. Carson loves fruit snacks, the movie Cars, trains, shoulder rides, going to grandma's, and playing with Landon. He'll introduce himself as a different super hero every time. But he always has laser eyes and freezing powers with sound effects. Oh, and did I mention he can fly? He can often be found wearing cowboy boots and his super cape.

We love you so much Carson and all the smiles you bring into our lives.

Danger Zone!

It seems there are benefits and not such benefits to moving into a previously burnt down apartment. This is just today's findings. We've found well over 300 nails in our driveway. Luckily only 3 in out tires.

The boys first noticed them while we were moving in and lined all the nails and screws they could find along the back door and practiced their counting. Once they got to about 67 nails I started worrying that I had an endless collection in my drive way. Well, I did, and just recently I finally found a magnet to pull up the rest of my collection. Crazy!! I've noticed I've got a bunch in my back yard just up against the house that I haven't taken the time to pull up yet.

Who needs a girl?

Landon has insisted on painting my nails for the last week. Finally I had to use this as his incentive for being good while my clients were here. Needless to say, he is very proud of his work and noticed it's starting to come off and wants to fix them for me. We'll see what my nails look like next week:)

He calls them my Halloween finger nails. Appropriate, no?

Amazing?

Yeah, I grew this watermelon starting from seed next to my kitchen sink! I just picked it out of my garden tonight and was so excited I had to show everyone. A litte proud, well yeah. All of my hard labor is officially paid off.

Quick update on the last three months and lots of Exciting News!

Let's just skip what we missed and pick up where we are...

Okay, well, I guess there are a few main events worth catching up on.

There are no pictures, so if you're not planning to read it, just take note of the final update:)

- We moved! (2 months ago) Grandma's home where we were living "Sold". Only, it didn't. So we moved into a nice little duplex. Everythings brand new becuase it burt down about 5 months ago. I even have a dishwasher:) Life is good!

-My brother Nick came home from his mission end of July! And he pulled off a Nelson, he's engaged. They're getting married end of November and moving into grandma's home, that didn't sale. We're all so excited, we Love Ashley.

-My sister Katie and Jordan have moved back from New York selling Security Systems. Now that we've moved we live just around the corner from them, and we're in the same ward again. Just like old times.

-We celebrated our 5th year Anniversary August 12th, can you believe it?

-I quit cleaning homes and am now doing toenails. My blog is: twittertoes.blogspot.com. So I've spent lots of time perfecting my recently discovered talent for art on toenails.

-Richard graduates this December!!!! And is now thinking about Law School. We'll see what the future holds for our growing family.

-Yes!! Our family is growing. We just found out there's another little baby on it's way:) Landon are Carson are Both excited! (It took Carson a little convincing:) Baby's due May 13th! I need to schedule my first appointment, so if anyone know's of a good O.B. Close by let me know! Mine's on a mission till February and hasn't decided yet what his plans are when he gets back.
